SMC Motorhomes is based in Newark and sell new and used motorhomes as well as providing a full body shop and service centre. They employ over 30 staff and as well as the usual holidays they also have to provision for shows. The shows last from three to seven days when you include setting up and taking down.
SMC needed a holiday booking system that:
Would let all staff know when other staff members were on holiday.
Let staff book holidays.
Enable managers to approve/decline a holiday.
Inform admin about the holiday.
Display the motorhome shows and bank holidays.
This system was created quickly and is now in operation; a screenshot below shows who was off in August 2018.
